MUX Controls

AXON’s Multiplex Subsea Control System (MUX) has provided outstanding field service delivering both the reliability and the ease of use necessary for the demanding deepwater application. The AXON system consists of an HPU, mixing system, accumulator racks, diverter controls, human-machine interface (HMI) control panels, central control unit (CCU), uninterrupted power supply, hose and cable reels, and control pods. All elements of this system are designed to work together as a fully integrated system. 

Additional required equipment, such as rigid conduit manifolds, autoshear systems, and stack-mounted accumulators are also available.

AXON designs and manufactures in accordance with API 16D, RP53, and RP64, and can monogram units to API 16D. In addition, all software and hardware used in the AXON MUX system was designed and developed in accordance with a disciplined approach for Safety Integrity Level (SIL) compliance.
